Obama Pushes Quick TPP Deal In Mexico

Law360, New York (May 3, 2013, 4:52 PM EDT) -- President Barack Obama on Friday reiterated his hope that the ongoing talks for the planned Trans-Pacific Partnership would wrap up within 2013, again stating his ambitious goal for the completion of the free trade agreement during a speech in Mexico City.

"Let's realize the Trans-Pacific Partnership this year so our two nations can compete and win in the fast-growing markets of the Asia Pacific," the president said in televised speech at the National Museum of Anthropology in the Mexican capital.
