Appeals Court Declines Review Of Mine Safety Rule

Law360, New York (January 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- An appeals court has denied a petition by the National Mining Association to review a rule adopted in the wake of two fatal West Virginia coal-mine accidents that requires mine operators to place rescue devices in primary and emergency escapeways.
