ArthroCare Faces DOJ Investigation Over Billing Practices

Law360, New York (May 8, 2013, 3:19 PM EDT) -- Surgical instrument maker  ArthroCare Corp. on Tuesday said the U.S. Department of Justice is investigating its past sales, accounting and billing practices less than a year after two of its former executives were charged with inflating company earnings, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
