Canada Pushes EU On Tar Sands Emission Classification

Law360, New York (May 9, 2013, 2:56 PM EDT) -- Canada on Wednesday described the European Union's plan to designate tar sands oil as more polluting than conventional crude as "discriminatory," but indicated that the long-running dispute would not get in the way of a proposed trade pact intended between Canada and the EU.
