Mutual Benefits Exec Loses Bid For New Trial On $837M Scam

Law360, Miami (May 9, 2013, 10:26 PM EDT) -- A Florida federal judge on Thursday denied a new trial for a former Mutual Benefits Corp. executive convicted of money laundering and obstructing justice in an alleged $837 million insurance investment scam, saying she saw no evidence of prejudice in the verdict.
