Pa. Rep. Pushes Amendment To Put Judges Under Ethics Act

Law360, Philadelphia (May 9, 2013, 3:52 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania state representative announced Wednesday that he would push for a constitutional amendment to extend existing ethics laws covering state officials to members of the state’s judiciary.

In a co-sponsorship memorandum, Rep. Fred Keller, R-Snyder/Union, said that the standards laid down in the state’s Public Official and Employee Ethics Act should not be limited to just officials in the state legislature and the governor’s office.
