Inventor Loses Challenge To First-To-File Patent System

Law360, New York (May 9, 2013, 3:36 PM EDT) -- A Florida federal judge on Wednesday dismissed a suit alleging that it was unconstitutional for the U.S. to change to a first-to-file patent system, ruling that the inventor challenging the switch lacked standing to sue.
