HHS To Give $150M To Health Centers For ACA Enrollment

Law360, New York (May 9, 2013, 8:03 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will provide $150 million for community health centers to help the uninsured enroll in Medicaid and private health plans on the Affordable Care Act's insurance exchanges, the department announced Thursday.

The administration is relying, in part, on community centers and other organizations already working with the uninsured to get the word out about the ACA and help usher people through the application process for Medicaid and subsidies for private plans.
