Plea To Leapfrog FDA's Drug Rules Denied Cert

Law360, New York (January 14, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court refused on Monday to hear a case that challenged the way the U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulates terminally ill patients' access to experimental drugs.

The High Court said it wouldn't hear the appeal of the Abigail Alliance for Better Access to Developmental Drugs and the Washington Legal Foundation, which first brought the case against the FDA in 2003.
