Mass. Puts Boston Bombing Coverage Under Microscope

Law360, New York (May 10, 2013, 5:46 PM EDT) -- A Massachusetts regulator is asking property and casualty and health insurers to turn over data on claims from the Boston Marathon bombings, including how long claims are open, a spokeswoman for the agency told Law360 on Friday.

The examination comes after the Massachusetts Division of Insurance ordered carriers to promptly investigate business interruption, property damage, medical and other claims from the attacks.
