Panel Sends Drug-Tracking Bill To House Floor

Law360, New York (May 15, 2013, 8:06 PM EDT) -- The House Energy & Commerce Committee on Wednesday approved its version of a drug supply chain tracking system, known as track-and-trace, sending the bill to the House floor and moving the industry-supported legislation a step closer to enactment.

The committee approved the legislation by a voice vote, a move applauded by an industry lobbying coalition that supports the bill.
