Dow Loses Bid To Stanch Malicious Prosecution Suit

Law360, New York (January 15, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Facing a malicious prosecution action, Dow Chemical Corp. has lost its bid for summary judgment and now has to deal with repercussions for initiating an infringement suit against Mee Industries over a power augmentation method.

On Thursday, U.S. District Judge Gregory Presnell denied Dow's request, handing Mee Industries a victory in the ongoing fallout from a years-earlier patent battle.
