EU Rolls Out Anti-Dumping Duties On Chinese Ceramics

Law360, New York (May 15, 2013, 2:59 PM EDT) -- The European Union on Wednesday finalized anti-dumping duties on cheap imports of ceramic tableware and kitchenware from China that it found were harming European manufacturers.

The EU formally published the duties in its Official Journal, affirming the findings of a November provisional report that found the Chinese shipments were driving down prices and hurting domestic industry.

The final duties were reduced from the provisional findings, dropping from between 17.6 and 31.2 percent to between 13.1 and 36.1 percent for individual companies that took part in the...
