Judges Urge Europe To Create Single Patent Court

Law360 (November 6, 2005, 12:00 AM EST) -- Frustrated by the slow progress in efforts to create a pan-European patent court, leading intellectual property judges from across the region have joined forces to call for a complete overhaul of the project, according to a published report.

A “judges’ resolution,” signed by 24 patents judges from 10 European Union countries will form the basis of a campaign to lobby European Union governments on the need to create the European Patent Court, Legal Week reported.
