ParkerVision Wants Patents In Qualcomm Row Declared Valid

Law360, New York (May 23, 2013, 4:45 PM EDT) -- ParkerVision Inc. asked a Florida federal judge Wednesday to find valid six patents it has asserted against Qualcomm Inc. for alleged infringement, just as Qualcomm made a bid for more than half the accused products and one of its subsidiaries to be excluded from the suit.

Jacksonville, Fla.-based ParkerVision said Qualcomm's expert witness Behzad Razavi had not proven the patents-in-suit, covering integrated circuits used in cellphones and mobile devices, were indefinite and described unoriginal inventions.
