BlackBerry Case Opens In Virginia Today

Law360, New York (November 9, 2005, 12:00 AM EST) -- A patent dispute that threatens to shut down Research in Motion’s popular BlackBerry service is once again back in the hands of U.S. District Judge James Spencer in Richmond, Virginia.

On Wednesday, Judge Spencer is scheduled to hold the first district court hearing in the case since the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit issued its revised decision in August 2005.
