LG Wants Patent Holder To Name Licensees In ITC Fight

Law360, New York (May 29, 2013, 2:36 PM EDT) -- LG Electronics Inc. fired back Tuesday at Black Hills Media LLC's recent request for a patent infringement investigation by the U.S. International Trade Commission, blasting the company for basing its allegations on harm caused to unnamed licensees.

The South Korean phonemaker argued that Black Hills' May 13 complaint against LG, Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and others listed the “affected domestic industry” only as certain undisclosed companies that license its patented music-sharing technology.
