EU Clears Lutosa-McCain Tie-Up With Antitrust Fixes

Law360, New York (May 29, 2013, 2:42 PM EDT) -- European antitrust regulators have allowed processed potato company McCain Foods Ltd. to move forward with a proposed purchase of PinguinLutosa Food Group's €225 million ($291 million) Lutosa division, following McCain's commitment to shed assets, the European Commission said Wednesday.
