Biz Group Joins Call For High Court Review Of Noel Canning

Law360, New York (May 29, 2013, 7:18 PM EDT) -- A coalition of employers and business groups urged the U.S. Supreme Court in a brief released Tuesday to review the D.C. Circuit's blockbuster Noel Canning ruling and uphold the appeals court's finding that the president's recess appointments to the National Labor Relations Board were unconstitutional.

In an amicus brief, the Coalition for a Democratic Workplace asked the justices to grant the NLRB's bid for a review of the Jan. 25 ruling invalidating the recess appointments, even though the group agrees with the appeals court, saying high court intervention...
