Jury Must Decide 3-D Printing Antitrust Claims, Fed. Circ. Told

Law360, New York (May 30, 2013, 2:25 PM EDT) -- DSM Desotech Inc., which manufactures 3-D printing resin, on Tuesday urged the Federal Circuit to revive antitrust claims in a suit alleging 3D Systems Corp. monopolized the 3-D printing market and infringed patents, arguing that a jury should decide the case.

Desotech's arguments were raised in its opening brief in an appeal challenging U.S. District Judge Sharon Johnson Coleman's January ruling that disposed of the company's antitrust claims against 3DS. Judge Coleman ruled  Desotech failed to show that 3DS illegally tied its 3-D printers — or stereolithography...
