DOJ Allows $16.5B UTC-Goodrich Deal To Proceed

Law360, Los Angeles (May 29, 2013, 4:11 PM EDT) -- A Washington federal judge on Wednesday entered final judgment in the U.S. Department of Justice’s suit against United Technologies Corp. and Goodrich Corp. for antitrust violations stemming from UTC’s $16.5 billion acquisition of Goodrich, allowing the deal to proceed subject to certain conditions.
