Eye Surgery Co., Sales Reps Settle Trade Secrets Row

Law360, New York (January 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Eye surgery equipment maker Synergetics USA Inc. has reached a final settlement with two former sales executives it accused of misusing trade secrets, leaving in place an injunction it first won in 2005.

Synergetics said on Jan. 15 that it had agreed with former employees Charles Richard Hurst Jr. and Michael McGowan to dismiss both a pending appeal in the trade secrets case and a separate patent infringement lawsuit.
