Law360, New York (May 30, 2013, 9:06 PM EDT) -- A federal judge's refusal last week to bar Kentucky's attorney general from using outside counsel in a lawsuit accusing Merck Sharp & Dohme of deceptive marketing practices may help dissuade drugmakers from continuing to challenge the controversial practice, as courts repeatedly reject the notion that attorneys general lack control over those private firms.
