Apple Hit With Patent Suit Over GPS In IPhones, IPads

Law360, Los Angeles (May 31, 2013, 7:14 PM EDT) -- Apple Inc. was hit with a patent infringement suit in Nevada federal court Thursday by a Las Vegas-based technology company alleging some of the corporation’s smartphones and tablet computers violate a half-dozen of its GPS-related patents.

Silver State Intellectual Technologies alleges in Thursday’s suit that Apple has knowingly violated its patents through the manufacture, sale and or import of one or more versions of the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.
