EC To Propose New Toy Safety Directive

Law360, New York (January 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- In the wake of a string of toy recalls around the world, the European Commission said Friday that it would soon come forward with a proposal aimed at improving toy safety.

The proposal is expected to be introduced on Jan. 25 by EC Vice President Guenther Verheugen at a press conference in Brussels.
