Fed. Circ. Affirms AGA Patent Win In Heart Device IP Row

Law360, New York (June 3, 2013, 3:34 PM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit on Monday affirmed the partial dismissal of a suit brought by the University of Minnesota alleging AGA Medical Corp. infringed two patents directed to medical devices for repairing heart defects, saying a lower court properly constructed the claims of one patent and appropriately ruled the second as anticipated by prior art.
