EU Antitrust Enforcement Against Pharmas

Law360, New York (January 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- On 16 Jan. 2008, the European Commission announced a sector-wide antitrust inquiry into the pharmaceutical industry. Early reports suggest that the Commission began the inquiry on 15 Jan. 2008 with unannounced raids on the European offices of at least six major pharmaceutical companies.
