Chevron's Argentina Assets Unfrozen In $19B Amazon Fight

Law360, New York (June 5, 2013, 2:38 PM EDT) -- Argentina's Supreme Court on Tuesday suspended a freeze on Chevron Corp.'s assets in the country secured by indigenous Ecuadoreans attempting to enforce a disputed $19 billion pollution judgment, saying the oil giant’s Argentine subsidiaries were not party to the Ecuadorean litigation.
