Fla. Tort Reforms Could Face Legal Challenge

Law360, Miami (June 5, 2013, 10:05 PM EDT) -- Florida Gov. Rick Scott on Wednesday signed into law two bills that place stricter requirements on medical malpractice plaintiffs and heighten the standard for expert witness testimony, but opponents are already eyeing ways to challenge the measures, which they say put undue burdens on plaintiffs.
