Ex-Elliott Greenleaf Client Sues Insurer In Trade Secrets Row

Law360, New York (June 6, 2013, 8:19 PM EDT) -- A former Elliott Greenleaf client who the law firm sued for allegedly using stolen trade secrets in his tax lien business sued Houston Casualty Co. on Wednesday in Pennsylvania federal court, alleging the insurer shirked its duty to defend him.

Charles Herron and his company Municipal Revenue Services, which aids tax lien sales, contend Houston Casualty had a duty to defend them because the conduct that Elliott Greenleaf flagged in its complaint was covered under their professional liability insurance policy.
