Aussie Antitrust Agency Objects To Heinz Baby Food Co. Buy

Law360, New York (June 6, 2013, 3:02 PM EDT) -- Australia's competition authority said Thursday it would oppose H.J. Heinz Co.'s planned acquisition of baby food maker Rafferty's Garden Pty. Ltd. from private equity firm Anacacia Capital Pty. Ltd., finding a combined company would dominate the Australian market for sales of infant food.
