Seagate Accused Of Breaching Enova's Data Security IP

Law360, New York (June 6, 2013, 6:31 PM EDT) -- A Taiwan-based data security company launched a lawsuit against two Seagate Technology PLC subsidiaries in Delaware federal court Wednesday, accusing the hard drive manufacturer of breaching a patent deal for the use of their “groundbreaking” information security hardware. 

Enova Technology Corp.'s suit accuses Seagate Technology (US) Holdings Inc. and Seagate Technology LLC of violating two patents for cryptographic devices, which put data encryption directly into computer hardware rather than having consumers download software.
