Entergy Can't Pass On Costs From $1.8B Repowering Project

Law360, New York (June 6, 2013, 8:22 PM EDT) -- The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission rebuffed the efforts of an Entergy Corp. unit and the Louisiana Public Service Commission to pass on certain canceled costs from the company's abandoned $1.8 billion repowering project, according to a precedent-setting Thursday decision.

Administrative Law Judge Philip C. Baten refused separate efforts from both Entergy Services Inc. and LPSC to use certain canceled costs tied to the Little Gypsy project within a bandwidth formula, which would have brought in about $194.2 million from ratepayers over a 10-year period, according to...
