Insurers Off Hook In Ross Cleanup Suits, 4th Circ. Rules

Law360, Los Angeles (June 6, 2013, 8:52 PM EDT) -- The Fourth Circuit on Thursday upheld a district court ruling that insurers Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. and U.S. Fire Insurance Co. were not required to defend or indemnify Ross Development Corp. in lawsuits relating to arsenic and lead contamination at one of Ross' former sites.
