Law360, New York (June 7, 2013, 10:07 PM EDT) -- European Union justice ministers on Thursday gave their preliminary backing to a proposal that would narrow the scope of a sweeping proposed reform of the bloc's data protection regime, but participants acknowledged they were far from wrapping up their long-running negotiations.
