Md. Lawmakers Want Return Of Regulated Electricity

Law360 (January 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- With energy costs skyrocketing for Maryland consumers, some state lawmakers have begun pushing for reregulation of the state's electricity industry.

In a bill proposed on Jan. 11, Baltimore City and County Democrats have advocated for reregulating Maryland's energy providers, in a move that would reverse the deregulation carried out less than a decade ago.
