ABA Sections See Flaws In Spain's Cartel Leniency Plan

Law360, New York (June 11, 2013, 4:28 PM EDT) -- Two American Bar Association sections have urged Spain's antitrust authority to alter some of the proposed guidelines for its leniency program in cartel cases, including a portion outlining the process for extending leniency to individuals, the ABA said Tuesday.

The ABA's Antitrust and International Law sections submitted comments to the Spanish Comisión Nacional de la Competencia, pushing for modifications and clarifications to certain parts of the regulator's draft guidelines for its cartel leniency program.
