Petronas Ready To Pump $20B Into Canada Gas Project

Law360, New York (June 11, 2013, 6:34 PM EDT) -- Malaysia's state-owned Petroliam Nasional Bhd, is looking to inject $20 billion into its liquefied natural gas export project in Canada, making Pacific NorthWest LNG one of the largest projects in the U.S. and Canada, according to several Tuesday reports.

The company, better known as Petronas, revealed at an industry conference that it is planning to make a final investment decision by 2014 to pave the way for two LNG trains that will each carry 6 million tons of fuel a year by 2019, according to reports...
