Big Legal Malpractice Suits Jumped In 2012, Survey Says

Law360, New York (June 18, 2013, 8:47 PM EDT) -- Both the frequency and severity of professional liability claims against law firms was up last year, according to survey results released Tuesday by an insurance advisory firm.

Although legal malpractice claims appeared to be declining at the outset of 2012, the number of new claims trended upward through the year, according to a report from Ames & Gough.
