Law360, New York (January 24, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- No industry is happy to attract the attention of plaintiffs’ class action lawyers, but that is just what has happened to the toy industry in the wake of several high-profile recalls of children’s toys involving lead paint.

Dozens of lawsuits have already been filed against RC2 and Learning Curve Brands, Inc. (Thomas trains), and Mattel and its subsidiary, Fisher-Price (character toys, including Sesame Street, Cars and Dora).
