Ind. Hits Air Duct Cleaner With $12M Robocall Suit

Law360, New York (June 19, 2013, 6:48 PM EDT) -- Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller said Tuesday that he had launched a suit seeking at least $12 million from a Missouri-based air duct cleaning company that allegedly placed hundreds of robocalls advertising its services to residents of the state without their consent.

In a complaint filed Friday, the attorney general claims Noach Palatnik, who does business as Air Duct Cleaning, violated the Indiana Telephone Solicitation of Consumers Act and the state Regulation of Automatic Dialing Machines Act by making 435 prerecorded telemarketing calls to residents in...
