Malpractice Claims Rise With Partners On The Move

Law360, New York (June 19, 2013, 8:43 PM EDT) -- Firm mergers, the scramble for lateral hires and the departure of thousands of lawyers from floundering firms in the down economy have helped drive up the number of malpractice claims brought against lawyers, according to experts and a recent survey of malpractice insurers.
