Ex-Workers Sue Pa. University For Age Discrimination

Law360, Philadelphia (June 19, 2013, 5:22 PM EDT) -- With the blessing of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, a group of former employees at a Pittsburgh university filed suit against the school in federal court on Wednesday alleging they were forced out of their jobs on the basis of their age.

Three administrators at Carlow University, a Catholic masters university, said that they were fired without warning in September as part of a purge of older workers who were subsequently replaced by younger counterparts.
