Electra Pays $66M For UK Audio Mixing Co. From Bain Unit

Law360, New York (June 21, 2013, 2:31 PM EDT) -- U.K. private equity house Electra Partners LLP has acquired audio mixing hardware company Allen & Heath from a Japanese subsidiary of Bain Capital LLC for £43 million ($66.2 million), Electra announced Friday.

The firm's private equity subsidiary, Electra Private Equity PLC, will provide a mixture of debt and equity to Japanese ownership conglomerate D&M Holdings, which is owned by Bain. Allen & Heath design and manufactures audio mixing consoles for concerts, theaters and other live shows.
