Pa. Supreme Court Nominee OK'd By Legislative Committee

Tom Corbett’s nominee to fill the Pennsylvania Supreme Court seat left vacant after ex-Justice Joan Orie Melvin’s February corruption conviction won unanimous support from a state legislative committee Thursday after telling lawmakers that he would be an active member of the court not driven by political ideology.
