Labor Dept. Sends FMLA Revisions To White House

Law360 (January 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Labor sent proposed modifications to the Family and Medical Leave Act to the White House Office of Management and Budget Thursday, according to government records, in what could become the first revisions to the landmark law in more than a decade.

The agency revealed few details on the changes but said the proposals did not make any changes to the number of people who are allowed to take leave from work under the law.
