E.ON Vows To Fight EC Fine Over Broken Seal

Law360, New York (January 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- E.ON AG will try to fight one of the largest fines ever to be imposed by the European Commission for breaching an official seal during dawn raids on its offices last year.

A seal on one of the doors in the energy company's German offices was found broken the day after EC and German inspectors raided the company as part of a Europe-wide probe of competition in the energy sector.
