Senate Clears Immigration Bill Amendment In Key Test Vote

Law360, Los Angeles (June 24, 2013, 8:57 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Senate on Monday voted to advance an amendment to the comprehensive immigration reform bill that would double the number of agents on the Mexican border and require a new security plan before immigrants living in the U.S. illegally could be eligible for permanent residence.
