Apple Loses Japan Appeal Over Samsung Synch Tech

Law360, New York (June 25, 2013, 2:56 PM EDT) -- A Japanese court on Tuesday has reportedly affirmed a lower court's ruling that certain Samsung Electronics Co. mobile devices do not infringe an Apple Inc. patent related to data synchronization technology.

The Intellectual Property High Court in Tokyo ruled against Apple in an appeal of a lower court's decision in favor of Samsung, according to an Associated Press report.
