Samsung May Face Sanctions In Ericsson ITC Dispute

Law360, New York (June 25, 2013, 2:19 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission's investigative staff on Monday said Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. may deserve sanctions for not complying with a judge's order to hand over information on some of its planned products to Ericsson Inc.

Ericsson, which is accusing Samsung of importing smartphones that infringe several of its patents, won a ruling in April that ordered the South Korean electronics giant to turn over information on any products it planned to roll out before the evidentiary hearing.
